Ginger - Tumeric Herbal Tea

A calming, immune-supportive tea made with fresh ginger, turmeric, and a touch of lemon. Perfect for reducing inflammation, boosting digestion, and giving your body a gentle reset.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups water

  • 1 tsp fresh turmeric

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger

  • 1–2 lemon slices (optional)

  • ½ tsp honey (optional)

  • 2–3 black pepper (helps activate curcumin)

  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional for extra flavor )

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring the water to a gentle simmer

  2. Add the turmeric, ginger, black peppercorns, and cinnamon stick (if using).

  3. Let it simmer for 7–10 minutes to extract all the flavors.

  4. Turn off the heat and add the lemon slices.

  5. Strain the tea into a mug.

  6. Optional: Sweeten with honey or your preferred sweetener, if desired.
